Jewellery Designer Annabelle Lucilla Hastings graduated in 2012 from the Sir John Cass College of Art and Design with a degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing. After scooping the Paul Podolsky award from the British Jewellers' Association for design excellence, and First prize for Design for her graduate collection, Annabelle went on to exhibit at the renowned New Designers exhibition.
Annabelle is currently part of the Crafts Council Hot House programme. Having been selected as one of the ten designers chosen to take part on this intensive mentoring programme in the London Jewellery and Metal cohort.
Annabelle's fascination in intricate surface decoration and bodily adornment is a combination of her years spent making toiles for her mother and her love of surface textiles. Having spent years making jewellery she decided to combine the two arts and etch her patterns on to metal to create luxurious textures surfaces.
